Mercury was in retrograde.

That's why I waited so long to publish my blog.
Maybe you're thinking I'm crazy or that it's silly to wait for something that literally only makes something appear to move backwards to hold off on something as simple as a blog.
But let me tell you why I decided to wait until the retrograde was over; and excuse me for trying to word this without using blatant plagirism.
This retrograde happened in Aries from start to end which can bring some heavy energy. There's an impulsiveness in Aries that can make it hard to plan, it makes accidents and mistakes more likely. You may notice it in yourself or in the people around you, your mail might be delayed (Mine was). You might feel a strain in your relationships or find it hard to communicate.
Mercury controls all forms of communications, talking, listening, writing, texting etc. as well as all formal contracts and codes too. Codes that computers, the internet, navigation and so forth rely on.
Making it all the more likely for something to go wrong with my website or some sort of miscommuniction to occur.
When Mercury retrogrades it's essentially taking a break, peacing out for a few weeks and leaving the things it rules to function on their own, making things on earth feeling a little crazy.
Which is why I decided to hold off on publishing the blog until the retrograde was over. I spent a lot of time reviewing what I did do and then reviewing again when the retrograde was over just to be sure that all was well before the site went live.
There are a number of things that are said to be bad ideas during a retrograde including launching a website but this isn't an astrology blog and I'm not an expert (but that would be sweet though, right?) so I'll leave it at that.
If you'd like to read more about the retrograde and what not to do and when it'll happen again you can check it out here.
